This Privacy Policy outlines how the BABFT 3D Build & Utility Bot ("the Application", "the Bot") collects, processes, stores, and protects user information when utilized across Discord servers.

Our service is designed to support the Roblox Build a Boat for Treasure community by rendering 3D build file previews, managing server booster reward keys, assigning activity roles, and protecting server channels. We strictly adhere to the Discord Developer Terms of Service & Developer Policy.

2. Information We Collect

To deliver core bot functionality, we collect limited data categories:

  • Discord User Identification: Unique Discord User IDs (64-bit snowflake format) to verify server booster eligibility, track message activity counts, and prevent duplicate reward redemptions.
  • Server & Role Status: Server boosting timestamps (premium_since) and guild roles to process booster key claims via /claimboosterkey or Direct Messages.
  • Command Inputs & File Uploads: User-uploaded custom .build files submitted to render 3D structural model previews.
  • Security & Moderation Logs: Temporary channel activity and attachment telemetry used exclusively for real-time automated anti-spam and honeypot protection.

3. How We Use Your Data

Data Usage Commitments:
  • 3D Rendering Services: Transiently processing uploaded .build files to generate 3D previews via PyRender and Trimesh rendering engines.
  • Server Booster Rewards: Verifying Discord server boost status and issuing/tracking unique reward keys.
  • Activity Roles: Maintaining message counter tallies per user ID to assign server activity roles.
  • Server Protection: Automatically detecting and kicking malicious spam accounts or automated bots attempting channel floods.

4. Data Storage, Duration & Security

We implement strict data minimization principles:

  • Storage Location: Stored on isolated data servers in dedicated storage files (e.g. message_counts.json, booster_keys.json).
  • Storage Duration:
    • User IDs, activity counters, and booster key claims are stored persistently to prevent duplicate reward redemptions.
    • Message contents and uploaded .build files are processed transiently in memory during command execution and are NEVER stored permanently on disk.
  • Data Encryption & Security: All stored data at rest is secured using industry-standard disk encryption.
  • No Off-Platform Transfers or AI Training: User data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties and is never used to train machine learning or AI models.

5. User Data Rights & Deletion Requests

Under applicable privacy standards and Discord Developer Policies, users maintain full rights to inspect or request the permanent deletion of their stored data (User ID records and activity counters).

How to Submit a Data Deletion Request:

  1. Send a Direct Message (DM) to the server administrator or bot owner on Discord.
  2. Open a support ticket in the designated support channel inside our official Discord Server.

All verified deletion requests are processed and permanently purged from storage within 7 business days.

6. Third-Party Services

  • Discord API: Interfacing with official Discord Gateway APIs to process slash commands and events.
  • Discord Webhooks: Transmitting internal security telemetry and booster reward logs to designated administrative channels.
